PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year at Appomattox County High School! As your new principal, I'm excited to begin this journey with you. Our theme this year is "Every Raider, Every Day"—a reminder that every class, every moment, and every decision matters.
This year, we're focusing on four key priorities: punctuality, presence, respect, and accountability. These values will help us create a positive school experience while preparing you for life's next chapter by challenging you to overcome obstacles and grow through adversity.
Together, let's build a dynamic learning environment where every Raider thrives. Take pride in our school, respect one another, and help make this year unforgettable.
Here's to a year of growth, achievement, and memorable experiences. Go Raiders!

ABOUT US
Appomattox County High School is located in central Virginia and serves students in grades nine through twelve. It offers a variety of academic and extracurricular opportunities including a variety of college preparatory and career technical programs. A 4x4 block schedule provides students an opportunity to take four new classes each semester, and we partner with Central Virginia Governor's School and Central Virginia Community College to offer even more opportunities for our students.
