March 2, 2024: All-District Chorus event at Auburn High School (students selected from November audition only)

March 15/16, 2024: Possible Choral Performance Assessment @ Radford University

April 18-20, 2024: ACDA Middle School All-Virginia Chorus event (students selected from Jan/Feb audition only)

Congratulations to 8th grader, Karly Jenkins, who has been selected to the American Choral Directors Association's All-Virginia Honor Choir! Karly competed against 1,097 other auditionees submitted by 110 directors from across the state, and the judges said the "competition was FIERCE!" Karly claimed her selection as a Soprano 2 to the Mixed Honor Choir and will rehearse with other selectees from across the state for three days in April with the final concert performance at the Greater Richmond Convention Center on April 20th. This is the SECOND time Karly has achieved this awesome accomplishment in her Middle School Chorus career, and we are excited about the advanced opportunities that await her in High School Choir in the future. Way to go, Karly!
