Mrs. Allgood

Mrs. Allgood is a two-time graduate of Longwood University with a Bachelor of Arts in Music and a Masters of Science in School Counseling. This is her fifth year as a school counselor. Mrs. Allgood is passionate about creating a comprehensive counseling program in which students receive quality academic, social, and emotional support. She also seeks to help students as they begin to consider life after high school and what they can do to set and meet their present and future goals. Mrs. Allgood has been an active part of Appomattox for nearly 15 years and is excited to work with students within the community. When Mrs. Allgood is not at school, she spends her time farming, teaching music, and living her best life with her husband and three daughters.

Ms Mills

Ms. Mills is a two- time graduate from Liberty University with a Bachelors in Psychology and a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. Additionally, Ms. Mills received a Masters degree from the University of Lynchburg in Education School Counseling. Ms. Mills has been working in the school system for 8 years and this is her 5th year as a school counselor. Ms. Mills comes to us from Campbell County, and has worked with middle and high school students throughout her career. She is passionate about helping students work through struggles, whether emotional, social, relational, or academic, and desires to see students reach their fullest potential. Ms. Mills is passionate about building relationships with students and letting them know they matter and each have a unique purpose. Ms. Mills is originally from northern Virginia, and has resided in Lynchburg for the past 16 years. In her spare time, Ms. Mills enjoys CrossFit, volleyball, the outdoors, and shopping. Ms. Mills also coaches high school volleyball.
