Superintendent's Message

Welcome to Appomattox County Public Schools!

It is with great honor and privilege that I serve as your Superintendent. My commitment is strong: to uphold our legacy of excellence and cultivate a nurturing environment where every student can flourish.

We are immensely proud to be a fully accredited school division, a testament to the dedication and hard work of our entire school community - our students, faculty, staff, and parents. This achievement underscores our belief that investing in our youth directly leads to outstanding student achievement.

Our focus remains firmly on preparing students for their futures. By diligently implementing the Virginia Department of Education's revised Standards of Accreditation, we ensure our students are college and career ready, equipped with the vital knowledge, skills, and experiences necessary for success.

"Learning Today, Leading Tomorrow" continues to be our guiding theme, reflecting our mission to empower every student to become a productive and successful citizen at all levels. I am incredibly proud of our students' achievements, not just in the classroom and on the field, but also in their compassionate community service.

I encourage you to explore our website, attend a school event, or consider volunteering to discover more about our programs and the incredible accomplishments of our students. I excitedly anticipate another year of collaboration and shared success with our students, staff, and the entire Appomattox community.

Every Raider, Every Day!
