Friday, January 26 - Rising 9th graders from Appomattox Middle School participated in Raider Ready Day.
Raider Ready is held to promote all CTE/Elective courses at ACHS to current 8th graders before course requests are due to guidance. This offers teachers and their programs an opportunity to market themselves to 8th graders in small groups.
Teachers and students from their respective programs collaboratively developed student led presentations highlighting each program for the 8th grade students to see what CTE/Elective opportunities are offered at ACHS. This gives students a visual representation of what they would get to experience as a student.
