The Appomattox cross country team ran in the Region 2C meet this afternoon finishing 3rd in the region! This is the 2nd year in a row (and 2nd time in school history) that the Lady Raiders have qualified for the state meet. Elly Nash led the team with a 3rd place finish. The boys team finished in 6th place and Clay Hamilton qualified individually for the state meet with a 14th place finish. The state meet will be at Green Hill Park in Salem on Saturday, November 8th at 11:45 (girls) and 12:30 (boys).
