FCCLA meets every Monday from 3:30–4:30 PM in the Culinary Arts room! All students are welcome to join us and learn about upcoming events, trips, competitions, leadership opportunities & how to become a member. Come see what FCCLA is all about!

Staff and Students:

Raider Cafe is officially opening soon! Teachers & Staff will get the first taste starting 8/19. We will open to students starting 9/2. Come grab some good food, drinks, and treats while supporting your Raider Cafe!

The Drama Club is hosting an interest meeting tomorrow, Thursday, August 13th, from 3:30-4:30, in the ACHS auditorium.

The first FCA Meeting will take place this tomorrow morning, at 7:15 AM, in the cafeteria through the main entrance of school. Come join us for a great speaker and worship!

Students - All schedule change request forms must be submitted by Monday, August 10th.

A reminder - Any student who has been approved for Early Work Release, must check out in the main office before leaving the building.

If you are driving to school, you must purchase a parking pass and park in the number you have been assigned. The parking lot will be monitored for tags regularly. Any questions please see Mrs. Conroy the bookkeeper.

SENIORS: Decision Day is this Friday! We will have some fun activities for you, including tie-dye. If you would like to participate in tie-dying, please bring your own T-shirt.

STUDENTS - Early Work Release forms for 2026-27 can be picked up in the main office. Please return to Mr. Hall in the Counseling Office when completed.

Appomattox County High School Cheerleading is excited to announce Football Sideline Tryouts for the upcoming season.

Tryouts will be held:

· April 27th and 28th from 4:30 to 6:30 PM

· April 29th starting at 5:00 PM

Tryouts are open to all rising 8th through 12th graders. Participants must have a VHSL sports physical and two teacher recommendations.

If you plan on playing High School football next year, and are not participating in a Spring sport, you should be in the weight room at least 3 days a week and at Spring Football practices on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Boy's Basketball will hold workouts today and Wednesday from 3:30-5:30. Students participating must have a valid VHSL physical on file.
