Appomattox Primary School

This afternoon (January 17th), the ACPS Transportation Department will be conducting Emergency Evacuation Drills on our county school buses. These drills will take place after all students have loaded on "D" Bell at each school in the afternoon. Special Education buses will also participate in the evacuation drill but will not unload the bus. Once all students have loaded their respective buses, the evacuation drill will begin. For the purposes of the drill, all students will exit from the side door (not the rear emergency exit door). All students will line up on the sidewalk beside their bus. After the practice evacuation, the end of the drill will be announced and students will return to their bus. The buses will then depart the schools after all students have reboarded the bus after the drill.
