If you still need to bring in paperwork to complete registration for a new 2025-2026 Kindergarten student, you can stop by the APS front office anytime. Required documents are the original birth certificate, current physical and immunization record dated after 8/12/24 and proof of residency (lease agreement, mortgage statement, electric bill or water bill).

If you have brand new Kindergartner for the 2025-2026 school year, don't forget to schedule your school physical and immunizations as soon as possible! These appointments often fill up quick and students cannot start the school year without these documents on file with the school.

Head out into the community this summer and visit the Spot and Trot book buses! They will run from June 2nd through July 10th. The buses will not run on 6/17, 6/18, 6/23 or 7/4. The buses visit several churches, neighborhoods and community locations every week! Schedules for both buses are attached.

APS Summer School starts on Monday, June 2nd and will run through Wednesday, June 18th. Student hours are 8:15 am - 11:45 am. If your student was registered and confirmed for Summer School, we look forward to seeing them on Monday!

Head to the Jamerson Library on Monday, June 2nd to get registered for the Summer Reading Program! This program is open to anyone 2 years of age and older and runs for 8 weeks. Stop by the library for all the details!
