Appomattox County Public Schools

School Closure February 19 for Weather; Update on ACPS Cyber Incident Dear ACPS Families, Faculty, and Teachers: Due to forecasted winter weather conditions approaching our area, Appomattox County Public Schools will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, February 19, 2025. This will be an employee code 4 and an at home teacher workday. I also wanted to update you on the cybersecurity incident we announced yesterday. Our internal IT team continues to work alongside outside cybersecurity experts to bring our systems back up and running. Our internet remains down, but things are progressing as expected. Thank you for your understanding. Please stay safe and warm! Sincerely yours, Dr. Annette Bennett Superintendent of Appomattox County Public Schools
