On Saturday the Appomattox Marching Raiders had an outstanding day in competition and came home with several top awards in class 3A competition.
Appomattox received 1st place general effect, first place color guard, and first place percussion. Please extend a special shout out to our percussion section as they were not only the best in class 3A, but also, of all the bands in competition, they were the second highest scoring percussion section of the day. GO MARCHING RAIDERS!!!
