On September 17, as part of Appomattox Middle School's Gear Up efforts, Mr. Zach Gowen will give a presentation to interested parents and family members in the Appomattox community. Dinner and on-site childcare will be provided for those who register and attending.
Zach Gowen has climbed the highest peaks—both literal and figurative—and has overcome some of life’s toughest obstacles. After losing his left leg to cancer at the age of 8, Zach defied the odds and became the world’s first amputee WWE Superstar, captivating audiences with his determination, athleticism, and heart.
Zach’s message helps audiences see that it is how you climb to rise above your own mountains that matters most. Whether he’s inspiring young people to dream bigger or guiding educators to reconnect with their purpose, Zach proves that resilience, service, and mindset can turn any challenge into a triumph.
